Review: Living Color's "Candy Cane"

Hey guys! It's Khloe! Today I have a review for Living Colors "Candy Cane". I got mine from Big  Lots. It was $5.00. It is 18 oz. On to the review.

It smells really peppermint-y, but I can smell some cranberries, and something almost like vanilla. When ever it is lit the smell fills up the whole room. I burnt it for 5 hours,and as you can see, only a small amount is gone. For 5 hours it hasn't tunneled. I have only found these at Big Lots. 

The picture is candy canes in a red vase. There is red berries in the background. Very holiday and festive, it makes my room look so much better. 

The wick has stayed very strong, it hasn't broke off randomly. It's the perfect size. I didn't have to trim it at all!

Review: Frosted Tangerine Cake!

Hey guys! It's Kristina! Today I have a review on Slatkin & Co's "Frosted Tangerine Cake". This was from last year, but there are rumors of it going to be at the Hello Yellow Winter sale of 2012! This was a winner of the "My Candle Recipe" contest from BBW last year. Anyways, let's get to the review!

That's what it looks like. The fragrance notes in this are" A delicious blend of fresh tangerine and sweet pineapple, with powdered sugar, rich cream cheese frosting and a hint of coconut." To me, all I smell is cream cheese and a very strong orange citrus-y scent! It smells REALLY good! It's super strong, and when you light it, it fills up the whole room! 

This is the 14.5 oz that I have, and I got it for $19.50, so at the sale it will probably be 50-75% off, which is a great deal! I feel it's totally worth the $20, though!

This candle hasn't tunneled, and it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to evenly burn. The wicks have held up pretty strong, and I have lit it at least 5 times! It just lasts forever, that's why it looks pretty full!

I love the picture! It's a plain, white, frosted cake with what appears to be almonds or some type of nut on top! The candle is sort of a milky white color with a bit of yellow-ish tint. 

The candle also comes with a recipe on top. I'm sorry for not including a picture of it, but maybe sometime Khloe and I will actually make a step-by-step post on how to make it! It sure does sound yummy!

Candle Collection! December 2012

Hey guys! It's Kristina and Khloe! Today we are here to show you our candle collection! It's not that big, but who cares!? We live together, so it's just one big collection! Anyways, sorry if the quality isn't that great! We don't have that great of lighting because our bulbs ran out and we had to use crappy ones around the house! So, lets get started! :)

Let's start with the small ones.  We have;

Introduction Post.

• Hey everyone! We just wanted to do an introduction post. My name is Christina and the other owner is Khloe. We are cousins from Kansas City, Missouri. I'm 21 and she is 20. We just wanted to share our love and information about candles. The main candles will be Bath and Body Works (Slatkin & Co), some Living Colors, Yankee Candles, and Better Homes and Gardens.
